aurenote runs on Infomaniak servers in Geneva. Your notes, meetings and recordings are stored there, and the daily backup stays in Switzerland too. The meeting bot's recording and the AI summary are produced by service providers in the USA; the list of sub-processors names them.

Common questions
01Do I need consent from all participants to record?+
Yes. In Switzerland, meetings can only be recorded with consent of all participants. aurenote announces the recording audibly and in chat - you additionally confirm before starting that everyone agrees.
02Will my data be used to train AI?+
No. We do not use your content to train AI models and do not pass it on for that purpose. Which service providers process your data, and on what contractual basis, is listed on the sub-processors page. Your content stays your content.
03Which meeting platforms are supported?+
Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom and Cisco Webex. All major platforms, without your counterparts installing anything.
04What happens when I cancel?+
You cancel by email to us, effective at the end of the current month. You then keep access for another 30 days and can export everything as a ZIP (Markdown, recordings and embedded media). After that all data is permanently deleted - as required by Swiss DPA.
05Is there a data processing agreement (DPA)?+
Yes. For all Team and Business plans we provide a DPA. We also negotiate individually if needed - just contact us.
06Which payment methods are accepted?+
Through the checkout: credit card and the other payment methods Stripe offers; the amount is charged monthly in advance. On request: by invoice, monthly in advance by email, payable within 30 days. All amounts in Swiss francs.
07Can I use aurenote with Claude or ChatGPT?+
Yes, from the Plus plan. Connect aurenote once to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Gemini (Antigravity), then ask about your meetings there and have tasks or notes created. The AI only gets access after you approve it, and you can disconnect at any time. What you ask is processed by the respective provider (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google); your meetings stay stored in aurenote in Switzerland. Companies can turn the connector off for everyone.
